call your Senators today!
I’m urging you to make time for two quick phone calls today on behalf of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. It takes less than a minute per Senator’s office to register your opinion. I’m going to make mine over my lunch break.
The short version - Senator Judd Gregg placed drilling in ANWR into the Senate Budget Resolution. Senator Cantwell has written an amendment to strip it back out.
The Senate is expected to vote on the Budget Resolution this Wednesday, March 16. We need you to keep up the pressure on your Senators, urging them to vote for the Cantwell amendment, which would strip out Arctic Refuge drilling from the Budget Resolution.
We need your calls and emails to the Senate on Tuesday and Wednesday!
You should be able to reach the Capitol switchboard by calling this toll-free number: 1-800-247-2971.

There’s a CITIZEN ROLL CALL at JohnKerry.com. Add your name now!
We have only 24 to 48 hours to try and save the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
The Republicans are trying to sneak legislation through the Senate approving oil drilling and they are incredibly close to winning. We have to stop them.
I am joining with Senator Maria Cantwell (D-Washington) in offering a critical amendment to stop this sneak attack on our environment. We will fight on the floor of the Senate, but we need you by our side.
