Spring breakin’

I wrapped up my crazy Winter term last Thursday night. I finished my classes exhausted, but well done. If you’re curious about the giant Portland professor study my group did, have at it here (~44 pages, 993K). The professor is going to use it as an example next time he teaches the class (Sociological Research Project), so I guess our methodology is pretty sound.

Spring break thus far has entailed organizing my home office (conquering those piles!), listening to music and making CDs for people, sleeping in, reading Inga Muscio’s Cunt (LOVE it), catching up with weblogs, and Saturday I marched in a downtown rally decrying the second anniversary of the U.S. attack of Iraq. About 2000 people showed and it stayed dry during the entire march. Jeremy returned home Sunday night after two weeks gone attending an Oracle bootcamp in Bushkill, PA (no kidding).

This coming weekend I have to do my taxes and write up my plan/syllabus for my independent study class. My professor and I decided to call it Critical Studies in Schooling. I’ll write more about this in the coming days.

Tonight, Westbrae ramen with fresh mushrooms, peas and tofu, cold ginseng tea and a movie. Yeah, I’m taking it easy here and there. I have to tell myself to or I would “be productive” til the end of time.

Oh, by the way, I’ll post another setlist by the end of the weekend if you all give me some good ideas. Think moods, weather, words, whatever.
