This weekend, I want to post a new setlist and I want to do something silly, like favorite cheesy hits from the 80’s. We all have 80’s songs that we’re proud to admit we like for their “old school” cred (for me, The Cure, Siouxsie, B-52’s, etc.). But then there are songs that we’re embarrassed to admit we like; that we hope “cool” people never see in our collection. This morning in the car I was playing Eddie Money’s “Walk on Water” on my iPod - a song I loved when I was 12 and still find catchy - and Jeremy was groaning in pain and protest the whole time. Of course, when pressed, he admitted to having liked a Debbie Gibson song or two in the late 80’s, and so I was vindicated! We all have ‘em.
