					<description>Emily: it has been heartening to read your proposed reading list. I am currently reading a number of the books on your list. Erich Fromm's "Anatomy..." is quite interesting. Welcome to the machine is fascinating and disheartening in a way similar to "Culture of Make Believe". If you're going to read "Dumbing Us Down", then you owe it to yourself to read "The Underground History of American Education" by Gatto. Wendell Berry and John Zerzan I'd like to look into. Thanks.
