Strangechord

Well, the Curiosa festival I was going to go to tomorrow at the Gorge Amphitheatre (with The Cure, Mogwai, Interpol, and others) was cancelled. It has been replaced with a Cure-only concert in Everett, WA (right outside Seattle) on the 31st. The bad news is that it won’t be the experience of the outdoor amphitheatre and I’ll miss the other bands; the good news is that it’ll be just the Cure, meaning they’ll probably play as long as three hours. I sure hope Robert et al play a lot of older songs because I have little affinity for the past two albums. It’ll be amazing just to finally see the band up there on the stage in person. Of course, if Robert still looked like this (or this or this), that would be just like heaven.
