ass-covering
Honestly, it seems like scapegoatery and damage control are the only activities the executive branch engages in these days, aside from campaign stops and fund-raising. And it’s unnerving to think how much in federal funds has been spent to redirect blame and inoculate Bush from culpability. They ought to just put a checkbox on the 2004 Tax form that says “Would you like you contribute $3 to the presidential ass-covering?”
This administration is all politicking, no governing. I really can’t name one thing the administration has done in three years that has benefitted the masses. Can you?

He’s done a lot! If you mean for the masses o’ rich folks, big corporations, polluters, yadda yadda yadda.
Oh, Congress passed that one bill to make phone numbers portable, that was pleasant. So he did one good thing, vs. 2,983 bad things. See, I didn’t just Bush bash. I was fair and balanced.
