Strangechord

I started the new term today and it looks to be just as heavy as the last one! No kidding, I think there are about nine books I’ll be reading and zillions of little papers and online discussions, and a few community service projects thrown into the mix. Good stuff, though: Social Movements, a seminar/survey Globalization class called “The Global Environment: Transnational Integration and National Dilemmas” (*whew*), and an online class called Communication and Gender, which should be fodder for all sorts of blog musings on the topic.

Damn, am I glad I enjoy my major. I don’t know how one could stand four years of taking classes one doesn’t particularly enjoy, because classes really are a lot of work. Or maybe it’s that I actually do all the work. (heh)
