To downplay this point might also be to say that propaganda is not very important nor effective. Nuh? I think that language is intimately tied with education which are both tied with a healthy functioning democracy. Was it Socrates point that language is so ambiguous that a rigourous exchange is necessary in order to better understand each other on issues of importance? Well, whatever.
