Downbeat
I posted a new setlist free for the downloading - “Downbeat - lonesome, haunting songs for winter”. As I write on my music page, the order of the songs is important and I highly recommend burning the lot of them to a CD for a really nice, moody mix. Many of the songs have long been near and dear (like “Monsoon II (Aftermath)” and “Into Dust”) while others are newly haunting me (”Title and Registration” and “Under the Stars”). I’m curious to hear what you think of them.
Thanks to Kevin for the setlist request for dark autumn music - “…something somewhat prescient and foretelling or echoing a mood to come…” It’s a little late, but perfect for early winter. As you can see, I definitely take suggestions, so let me know what you’d like to hear in the next setlist!

Can’t wait to hear the mix! I haven’t listened to a few of those songs in ages..Love the Bauhaus and Lush!

I listened to most of it today while studying depression and anxiety for my Psychology class!
It was perfectly catered to the order, and had a certain irony when juxtaposed against the subject matter I was studying.
Thanks … so good to listen to some Mazzy Starr again.

Atmosphere by Joy Division is gloomy enough to cheer up any autumn day
