I can’t find out anything about this in the blogosphere - does anyone have any insight into why Adbusters would feature this photo of Christina Aguilera in its Buy Nothing Day campaign ads? What the hell are they thinking? I can’t figure/find out whether she is an actual sponsor of Buy Nothing Day or whether Adbusters just co-opted this image without her consent. It doesn’t matter, either way I find it really offensive. It’s just awfully weird of Adbusters and as a two-year subscriber to the magazine and a supporter of their campaigns, I’m really disappointed that they would go so low-brow.
