the past few days
Yes, I’ve been out of blog-touch these past few days.
- The other day, I succumbed and joined Friendster for the first time. I have been having fun looking up old high school mates and already have 10 friends hooked into my page. If you’re a reader here and have a Friendster account, let me know and we’ll connect!
- I am selling some used selling books, CDs and DVDs at Amazon. Please check out my seller page and see if you want to buy something! Remember, you know me (at least somewhat) and can count on me to be a reliable shipper.
- Thursday afternoon, I went to a two hour meeting with Gangaji at New Renaissance Bookstore. Gangaji is a completely wonderful American female spiritual teacher. She is warm, down to earth, wise, and incredibly funny and real. Although there are others who I feel bring forth a synonymous message (like Eckhart Tolle), Gangaji is the one I feel the most endeared to. I will blog later about my experience at the meeting (it was an intentionally small meeting and I was one of only 40 or so present). Ultimately, going to see her renewed and affirmed my commitment to my spirituality, which unfortunately I’ve noticed has taken a back seat in my life in recent years.
