Strangechord

Attention somewhat serious photographers! I discovered a great site, courtesy of dangerousmeta, that allows you to sign up for free and upload one photo per day for showcase and critique. The site is TrekEarth and it is a truly international community with photos from all over the world, easily searchable by place, category, theme, and member (photographer). I immediately joined and have contributed three photos so far (member page for strangechord). As a member, I can offer feedback on others’ photos, which is really fun, as the overall quality of the photos is above average and most are a pleasure to view.

I’m finding that reading other members’ critiques is a great way to learn more about what makes a sharp photo sharp and I’ve really enjoyed poring over the before-and-after workshops members do for each other.
