Strangechord

Boy, that was quite the flurry of political entries the other day! I am full of feeling regarding this war, and plan on saying a lot more about it in the future, but I also want to post about other things as well. (Just a note: I have a dear friend in the Navy and I spoke to him on the phone last night. He is stationed out of Southern California and the Navy isn’t sending him anywhere for the time being. Whew!)

I wrap up Winter term tomorrow with a final math exam. Then it’s home to clean the house and then to the airport to pick up my mom, who is flying in from Iowa to stay with us for a week. This will be her first time meeting Jeremy, who I’ve been dating for almost three years! I’m really excited about her coming out to my home turf and looks forward to tooling around the house and city with her.

In the next week, I’ll be posting more papers to my Writing section. These are papers I’ve written in the past six months and include subjects such as greenwashing and media mergers’ threat to democracy.
