The only thing I can say to that is, is it really possible to have a truly objective news source? One without (implied) stories about what happened. I don't really think so. However, the reason I trust the independent news media that I do is because most often their commitment is to deliver news in the light of informing the public, being honest about facts, and standing for things like justice, equality, and peace. Most of them are nonprofit too. Corporate media and news' main objective is to serve corporate interest, which is, by definition, about making a profit and protecting its ass. I'd rather have my news "tainted" by values with which I agree than by corporate self-interest. Therein lies the difference.

I have to say that these media choices are just as biased as CNN and NBC, etc. Is there a truly unbiased information network? people who report what happened without making up a story about it? If you find one, let me know.
