I’ve received so many magazine offers in the mail lately. What’s up with that? It’s as if publishers think this is a good time of year - after Christmas when people are broke? Well, I’m not broke, but I barely have any time to read the ones to which I already subscribe. The offers this week include The Week, Granta - apparently Britain’s most popular literary mag, and Hope Magazine. All seem worthy, but I definitely receive enough as it is. My subscriptions include:
