Just received The Cure’s Greatest Hits DVD from CDNow yesterday - can’t wait to watch the few videos I haven’t seen yet and see if there are goodies on the disc. I’m extremely selective about DVDs I’ll buy; it has to be a very favorite film or band and something I’m willing to watch more than twice (which is rare for me). So far I own the DVDs for “True Romance”, “Heavenly Creatures”, “Baraka”, “Dogma: Special Edition” (for Jeremy), “Thelma And Louise”, “A Clockwork Orange”, and “Magnolia”. I would love to own “Romeo And Juliet” (1968), “Lumiere & Company”, both of which are out on DVD now, and “Schindler’s List”, “E.T.”, “Persona”, and “A Celebration” once they’re released.

My mom sent me a terrific book for Christmas - God Is At Eye Level: Photography As A Healing Art. It chronicles the author’s journey in photography and is full of her gorgeous black and white photos. What I particularly like is the “reflections”, or exercises, at the end of each chapter to try out. These suggestions include hosting a portrait party with your friends, creating a photo essay about a passion in your life, asking to take strangers’ pictures, etc. I am excited to take my new digital camera “on the court” and capture what strikes my eye.

I am procrastinating on putting the finishing touches on PlathOnline.com. I have to post links to all of the articles I’ve found and write up a F.A.Q. I’m sure the Complete Links section could use some updating now too.

Is anyone reading this…? lol Often I feel so silly writing this blog…perhaps it is just a record for me. Only a very few of my friends know about this, my family doesn’t and my mom doesn’t even have a computer. Even Jeremy has confessed that he only reads this page about once a month - when he remembers. It really isn’t his sort of thing thus he forgets easily. I don’t send the URL out to the blogging community because I have it that I have to finish the rest of this site first. Ya know, have a complete product before announcing.
