The Week of Doom
Monday: Mom calls. Dad had chest pains last week and saw a cardiologist today. He has calcium deposits all over his aortic valve and a balooning in his aorta. Open heart surgery is scheduled for Monday Oct 15th but then gets rescheduled for Wednesday the 17th.
Tuesday: Renon calls at 11pm and says she won’t be moving in with me on the 28th as planned. I freak out and get mad at her and hang up and cry alot.
Wednesday: I look for a cheapo apartment on the internet and sign up for all these roommate emails. I then decide to sign a new lease at the apt I live in now and have Renon pay be 100 a month because she’s here all the time. She agrees.
Thursday: I sign new lease and then my power gets shut off. It costs me more than I can afford to get it turned back on.
Friday: I get up really early so I can get to work extra specially early, and go out to start my car and it won’t start. Battery was dead.
Saturday (today): Spend most of the day sleeping and writing lists of shit I need to do to survive in the world.
Life goes on, kids. It always has and it always will. The cool thing about life is that it always turns out, one way or another.
