i’m getting really bored with all of the middle east, Osama bid Laden, WTC, death toll, shocked nation news EVERYWHERE…..every blog you go to people are writing about it, every news site is consumed by it. I’m like so over it…this doesn’t mean i don’t get the weight and tragedy of two weeks ago, but enough obsessing already! Americans/the media are OBSESSING over this like they’re watching a soap opera - all gossiping, yakking, paranoid, etc…but rarely doing anything to elevate the state of the world.

I cannot fly an American flag with integrity. I love people, I love the creativity and ideas that have come out of this country, but I cannot stand the government, its policies, its practices, its inauthenticities, nor patriotic ignorance and arrogance. I refuse to indulge in the retalitation conversation in its present self-righteousness. I agree something should be done with the people who commited this atrocity, but the national non-stop car accident gaze is disturbing.
